Project Adventure is opening its 3-acre ropes course to the public for the first time! Join us to climb, play, and explore.

Event Details

The first ever Community Day will be held at Project Adventure on Saturday, September 19th, from 9am to 2pm.

We are opening our ropes course to the public for general registration. Families and adventurers of all ages will have the opportunity to experience the Project Adventure ropes course, including ground-level games, low and high climbing elements, food, community, and fun!

  • Choose a time slot that works for you. Arrive by your start time for orientation, then set off and explore!

  • Try a wide variety of activities, games, and climbing elements. You can stay feet-on-the-ground or climb as high as 40 feet into the trees. Options include group games that will have you cracking up laughing… “low” teambuilding and problem-solving activities… “high” climbing challenges among the trees… the North Shore’s only helix climbing tower… a tandem zip line… and more!

  • This is a self-guided day when you can float between many stations and participate in multiple different ways. All ages and abilities are welcome. Come alone or with a group. There’s something for everyone!

  • We will offer water and snacks, and breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase from the Butter Ur Biscuit food truck.

  • There is ample free parking available on site.

  • While there is always risk involved in any activity, the Project Adventure ropes course is incredibly safe. Our highly-trained staff are experts in risk management and will ensure that everyone is participating safely. If a guest is unable to follow staff directions, however, they may be prohibited from participating or asked to leave, for their own safety as well as others’. All guests will be asked to sign a waiver before participating.

  • All ages and abilities are welcome, but we ask that you let us know about any special needs ahead of time, so we can be prepared. We can help transport you around the ropes course and we have adaptive harnesses and many ways to participate. You can enter your needs at registration or email us at registration@pa.org any time.

  • A registered adult must be present with children at all times.

  • You may bring non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, but no alcoholic beverages and no coolers are allowed for safety reasons. Snacks and water will be available and more food is available for purchase.

  • There will be port-a-potties available, but no indoor bathrooms. If you need an accessible bathroom, please let staff know and we can accommodate you.

  • We encourage attendees to bring sunblock, bug spray, and weather-appropriate layers.
